Application - These terms & conditions apply whether a contract has been made verbally or in writing. The hirer is responsible for the actions and decisions of all passengers on board including and additional costs incurred in performing the contract whether or not they actually travel with the party.
Quotations - All quotations are given subject to the company having available a suitable vehicle at the time the hirer accepts the quotation. Quotations are given for Taxi & driver only. Quotations are valid for 7 days unless otherwise notified. All verbal quotations are given for Pick-up to final destination, variations will be charged accordingly.
Use of vehicle - The hirer cannot assume the use of the vehicle between outward & return journeys, nor that will it remain at the destination for the hirer’s use unless this has been agreed with the company. The company reserves the right to levy additional charges for additional mileage or time to that agreed. The charges will be pro rata & in accordance with booking confirmation.
Seating capacity - The maximum numbers allowed on the vehicle is indicated on the vehicle. No standing passengers allowed. Drivers will not carry an extra passenger over the seating capacity.
Animals - Will not be carried unless prior arrangements have been made. The only exception is guide dogs but please state whilst booking you will have a guide dog travelling.
Cancellation by hirer - If the hirer wishes to cancel the hire before 1 day of contract date, no charges will be made and any deposit will be returned, £25 will be payable after this time.
Cancellation by the company - In the event of an emergency or an action by the hirer to vary the agreed conditions, the company may return all monies paid and without further liability cancel the contract.
Change of vehicle - The company may provide a larger vehicle than the size hired at no additional charge.
Route - The route used, unless the hirer has advised of a particular route or places to be passed en-route, which will be specified on the confirmation letter, will be at the discretion of the company and/or the driver. The vehicle will depart at the times agreed by the hirer, and it’s the responsibility of the hirer to account for all passengers at those times. The company will not accept liability for any losses incurred by the passengers who fail to follow instructions given by the hirer.
Breakdown or delay - The company gives advice on journey times in good faith, but does not guarantee the completion of a journey at a specific time, and will NOT be liable for inconvenience or loss caused by breakdown or delay.
Property - All vehicles hired are subject to restrictions on carry luggage for statutory safety reasons & the driver shall be the sole judge as to wether & to what extent passengers’ property is carried. The company will not accept liability for any damage or loss of any property, which belongs to any passengers and is left on a vehicle. Any articles of found property recovered from a vehicle will be taken to the nearest police station and then down to the hirer to retrieve property.
Insurance - All hirers and individual passengers are recommended to obtain insurance for those items where, save for negligence, the company’s liability is limited ( such as delay or luggage ).
Conduct of passengers - The driver is responsible for the safety of the vehicle. Any passengers whose conduct is in breach of statutory regulations will be removed on the driver’s authority. The hirer will be responsible for all damages caused to vehicle by passengers during the hiring.
Complaints - Must be made within 7 days of the date of hire in writing to Prestige Cars, 71 High Street, Westbury on Trym, Bristol, BS9 3ED. No compensation will be paid out from our company for any reason.
Alcohol - Under no circumstances may alcoholic drinks be carried on or consumed upon the vehicle.
Smoking - All Taxis are non-smoking.
Surcharges - The quotations given is based on operating costs at the date of the quotation. When more than 28 days elapse between the date of the quotation and the date of departure, the company reserve the right to pass on to the hirer any increase in cost of fuel or any other increased cost resulting from Government action. We reserve the right to charge a valeting charge for any soiling in our vehicles or damages made by the hirer. Current cleaning costs are clearly displayed on all vehicles.

English Law - Orders are only accepted in that the Law of England shall apply to the contract arising from such an order, and to the determination of the rights and liabilities of the respective parties and in that no action or other proceedings shall be bought by either party in relation to such contract except in Court of competent jurisdiction in England.
Tariff published on this website will be subject to on-going review and should only be used for guidance. Fares will be confirmed during the telephone booking process and customers will be sent an SMS message to confirm bookings dependant on network signal.
An SMS message will be sent when your vehicle arrives at your pick up point dependant on network signal.
Waiting time will be charged as follows;
The first 10 minutes from the arrival of the taxi is free, thereafter waiting time will be charged at 40p per minute.
The first hour waiting at any airport is included in the fare. After the first hour we reserve the discretionary right to charge waiting time at 50p per minute plus parking. We would ask where possible if you could contact our office if you are aware of any delay.
Please note all parking charges incurred on collections from any major UK airport are charged at cost, in addition to the fare. Please visit the relevant airport’s website for full details on parking costs.
Additional passenger pick up or drop off will be charged at £5 per event unless they are part of the original booking.
Prestige Cars Bristol will communicate with customers to advise of any delays in service that may occur.
We will only commit to realistic arrival times based on traffic conditions and position of the fleet at the time of booking.
There is a minimum fare of £6.50 for the first mile.
All fares over £40 must be paid in advance by credit or debit card.
The 7 & 8 seater vehicle will be charged at standard fare X 1.75. The minimum fare for this vehicle is £10.50. Additional pick ups and drop offs not included in the original booking are charged at £10 per event. Waiting time is charged at £30 per hour, based on £7.50 per 15 minute or part thereof.
All bookings taken by Prestige Cars Bristol Ltd are on behalf of subcontracted drivers and have agreed to complete your said journey. No responsibility can be taken by Prestige Cars Bristol Ltd for any failure whatsoever by the driver to complete your journey.
A cancellation fee will be applied for all pre paid and account journeys canceled at less than 24 hours notice. This will be 50% of the fare or £25 whichever is the smaller amount.
Prestige Cars reserve the right to provide a substitute vehicle from one of our sister companies.
